Staying at the Omni means you’ll be within walking distance of our reception, no transportation needed. The hotel is also directly connected to Petco Park, and the Padres will be playing the Giants all weekend, making it an especially fun and lively time to be in San Diego.

🚗 Getting Around

San Diego is easy to explore and well-connected, making it simple for guests to get where they need to go!

Rideshares: Services like Uber and Lyft are the most convenient way to get around the city. They’re readily available at the airport, major hotels, and most attractions.

Public Transit: The San Diego Trolley runs through key areas including downtown, Little Italy, Old Town, and Mission Valley — a fun and affordable option for sightseeing.

Car Rentals: If you’re planning to explore beyond downtown — such as a beach day in La Jolla, wine tasting in Temecula, or a day trip to Coronado — renting a car is recommended. Major rental companies operate right at San Diego International Airport (SAN).

Ferries & Scenic Routes: Hop on the Coronado Ferry from downtown for a short, scenic ride across the bay.

Enjoy a drive along the Pacific Coast Highway for breathtaking ocean views and access to coastal towns.

Parking: Parking is typically available at most hotels and venues outside of the downtown core. If you’re staying downtown, we recommend using rideshares or public transit.
